OTC Markets Group Launches OTCID Basic Market to Enhance Transparency

OTC Markets Group Inc. has introduced the OTCID Basic Market, a structural overhaul aimed at redefining disclosure standards in the over-the-counter equities space. The MOVE eliminates the Pink Current Market, replacing it with a framework designed to foster transparency for companies engaging U.S. investors through consistent reporting.

The initiative aligns with OTC Markets Group's strategy to reduce investor uncertainty and provide compliant companies a clearer path to growth in U.S. public markets. Issuers on the OTCID Basic Market must now meet stringent disclosure requirements, including quarterly and annual financials, management certifications, and updated profile information.
